Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of NGODost, including account creation, platform features, verification workflows, profile publishing, inquiry tools, and related services.

Effective date

March 16, 2026

Applies to

Visitors, NGOs, corporates, administrators, and any person or entity accessing NGODost or its related services.

Important note

NGODost supports discovery and engagement; it does not guarantee funding, partnerships, verification outcomes, or regulatory compliance.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NGODost, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and any policies or guidelines incorporated by reference, including the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not access or use the platform.

If you use NGODost on behalf of an NGO, company, institution, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Eligibility and Accounts

NGODost is intended for use by authorized adult representatives of NGOs, corporates, and administrative teams, as well as by general visitors reviewing platform information. You may not use the platform if doing so would violate applicable law or if you lack authority to represent the organization identified in your account.

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating or maintaining an account or organization profile.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity occurring through your account unless caused by NGODost's own breach of security obligations.
  • You must ensure that any representative using an account has authority to act on behalf of the NGO, corporate entity, or administrative function they represent.
  • You must promptly update information that becomes inaccurate, incomplete, expired, or misleading, especially where that information affects verification, compliance, or trust.

Permitted and Prohibited Use

Permitted use

  • Use the platform to discover, evaluate, shortlist, and initiate legitimate CSR-related engagement between eligible organizations.
  • Submit profile information, compliance data, and supporting materials only where you have the right, authority, and lawful basis to do so.
  • Access content and features only in ways expressly enabled by the platform and consistent with applicable law, regulation, and these Terms.
  • Respect the integrity of platform workflows, including verification review, inquiry flows, shortlist tools, analytics, and administrator controls.

Prohibited use

  • Misrepresent an organization, user identity, legal status, registration, authority, or verification standing.
  • Upload false, misleading, forged, infringing, defamatory, malicious, unlawful, or deceptive content, documents, or claims.
  • Attempt to scrape, copy at scale, reverse engineer, probe, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the platform, its infrastructure, or other users' data.
  • Use NGODost as a payment processor, donation escrow, fundraising intermediary, or as a substitute for your own legal, compliance, or due-diligence processes.
  • Circumvent permission controls, impersonate another party, spam users, or interfere with platform operations or security safeguards.

Verification, Profiles, and User Content

Verification workflow

  • NGODost may review submitted profile details and documents through internal workflows, administrators, or designated operational processes.
  • A verification badge or approved status indicates only that NGODost has reviewed information according to its platform workflow at a given time; it is not a guarantee of ongoing legal compliance, financial health, suitability, impact quality, or partnership success.
  • Corporates remain responsible for conducting their own due diligence, legal review, and internal approval processes before funding, partnering with, or relying on any NGO or project.
  • NGOs remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, currency, and authenticity of all submitted information and documents.

Content and document responsibility

  • You retain responsibility for the content, documents, data, messages, and materials you submit to the platform.
  • By submitting content, you grant NGODost a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, process, and use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and administer the platform.
  • You represent that you have all necessary rights, permissions, notices, and authorizations to submit such content and to allow its use under these Terms.
  • NGODost may remove, restrict, edit, or refuse content that appears inaccurate, unlawful, harmful, infringing, insecure, or inconsistent with platform integrity or legal obligations.

Intellectual Property

NGODost, including its branding, interface design, software, platform workflows, text, graphics, and underlying materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property and related rights. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from the platform or its proprietary elements.

Organization names, logos, and third-party materials submitted by users remain the responsibility of those users, who must ensure that their use does not infringe the rights of others.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • NGODost is a discovery and engagement platform, not a law firm, compliance auditor, funding guarantor, financial advisor, or grant-making authority.
  • The platform, profiles, search results, analytics, and verification outputs are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy of user-submitted information, successful collaborations, funding outcomes, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Users are solely responsible for evaluating counterparties, documentation, legal eligibility, contractual arrangements, and any offline or online engagement arising from platform use.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NGODost and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or anticipated savings arising from or related to use of the platform.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law under the circumstances.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NGODost and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and personnel from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your content, your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of any third-party right, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Suspension and Termination

NGODost may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform, remove content, or disable accounts if we reasonably believe that a user has breached these Terms, created legal or security risk, submitted misleading materials, misused verification processes, or otherwise acted in a way that threatens the platform or other users.

You may stop using the platform at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms, including those relating to content rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, disputes, and other provisions that by their nature should survive, will continue to apply after termination.

Modifications to the Platform or Terms

We may update, suspend, discontinue, or modify platform features, workflows, eligibility requirements, or these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we may update the effective date and provide notice through the platform, email, or other reasonable means. Continued use after such changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Framework

These Terms are intended to operate in the context of the Indian legal and regulatory environment relevant to digital platforms and CSR-related discovery workflows. Nothing in these Terms is intended to override mandatory legal rights that may apply under applicable law.

If you require a more specific governing law, jurisdiction, dispute resolution, entity name, or registered office clause, those details should be added once the operating legal entity and formal legal structure are finalized.
