At the heart of this initiative is the inspiring legacy of Late Shri G.C. Goyal, a man remembered not simply for generosity, but for a life consistently lived in service of others. He is known for having helped serve more than 10 million meals during his lifetime, not as a symbolic gesture, but as a continuing act of compassion, dignity, and social responsibility.
For him, service was never charity in the limited sense. It was a way of life. That example left a lasting impression on the next generation.
Growing up with that model, Mr. Dinesh Goyal did not merely witness service. He absorbed its discipline, its humanity, and its sense of duty. Those values continued to shape his thinking through his professional journey and through his involvement with CSR-led initiatives.

The Legacy That Shapes Us
That inherited sense of service eventually met a difficult truth. While engaging with the CSR ecosystem, it became clear that the problem was not always a lack of willingness. Corporates were often ready to contribute, but struggled to identify the right NGOs. At the same time, many NGOs were doing deeply meaningful work, yet lacked the visibility and access needed to reach the right corporate partners.
Intent was present on both sides. Impact was being lost in the gap between them.
NGODost was created to close that gap. It is not just a technology platform. It is a bridge built on values, created to ensure that credible work is easier to discover, that trust is easier to establish, and that sincere intent has a better path to real-world outcomes.
Why NGODost Exists
The platform was born from a clear and recurring pattern seen across the CSR landscape in India.
Corporates were willing to give, but often could not find the right NGOs with enough clarity and confidence.
NGOs were doing valuable, often transformational work, but could not consistently reach the right decision-makers in the corporate world.
Discovery depended too heavily on fragmented networks, informal referrals, and scattered information rather than structured trust.
